Rwenzori Green College Foundation Uganda Limited is a network of 20 member institutions across Kasese, Bunyangabu, Kabarole, and Fort Portal Tourism City dedicated to empowering communities through vocational skilling, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, tourism, environmental conservation, research, and entrepreneurship.
The network brings together organizations specializing in organic farming, eco-tourism, solar installation, vocational training, artisan crafts, agribusiness, research and innovation, hospitality, community development, and youth empowerment. Member institutions provide practical hands-on training in areas such as solar technology, organic agriculture, basket weaving, pottery, tourism, hospitality, fish farming, goat rearing, bamboo crafts, beekeeping, banana value addition, and environmental conservation.
The network also promotes inclusion, sustainability, self-employment, and community resilience by supporting women, youth, vulnerable families, and marginalized groups with income-generating skills and business opportunities. Through partnerships, research, innovation, and community engagement, the institutions collectively contribute to economic empowerment, environmental protection, food security, and sustainable development across Western Uganda.
